Who We Are Workshops

Founded in 1954, the association provides its members with pedagogical assistance and linguistic resources for language instruction at elementary, secondary, and university levels. The 100+ member organization publishes its professional journal, the MALT Bulletin, once a year, has an annual conference in the spring, workshops in conjunction with the MEA/MFT Conference in October, and provides a website full of resources. MALT is a constituent of the Pacific Northwest Council on Foreign Languages (PNCFL) and the American council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).

If you teach a language in Montana, and are not an active member of MALT, please join us in our mission to help one another by sharing our professional knowledge and resources. MALT has sectionals both in the fall at the MEA/MFT and in the spring at the MALT Conference.
